How we came about

Thank you for your interest in my products! A little history about me and how I began.

My name is Dawn, just a small-town Iowa girl who loves creating resin pieces. My journey hasn’t been an easy one. It began in 2017 when I lost my father. Grief doesn’t come with an expiration date, and some days are still harder than others.

Not long after, I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia. Three months later came another diagnosis—Gastroparesis, which means part of my stomach is paralyzed. It felt like life kept piling things on. Then in August 2019, just two days before my 45th birthday, I was diagnosed with the onset of Parkinson’s disease. By December of that same year, I learned I also had a bicuspid aorta, a congenital heart condition that had gone undetected my entire life.

I was told I could no longer work. I was devastated. I felt lost, worthless, and sank into a deep depression. Eventually, I realized I needed help and found a wonderful counselor who has supported me tremendously.

Still, something was missing. I tried different crafts, but nothing truly fulfilled me—until the spring of 2025, when I discovered resin art. What started as simple curiosity quickly became a passion. When I began working with heart molds, something clicked. I knew I had found something meaningful.

I started creating pieces for friends and family, then for people I had never met who connected with my work. Through resin art, I found myself again. I found purpose.

If I can make someone smile, I’m happy. That’s what matters most to me—bringing joy to others, one piece at a time.
